Bruce J. Thomas II, MD Dr. Thomas is the Medical Director of Top Tier Sports Medicine. He serves currently as the Medical Director for the LPGA and Symetra Tours, and is on the medical staff of the Washington Nationals. He has covered high profile sporting events throughout the world for two decades. His passion is taking care of athletes of all levels and ages.

Brian Pogue is a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer originally from the Melbourne area. He received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training form the University of Florida. After graduation, Brian worked in various athletic training settings, including professional, college, clinical, and high school providing ATC coverage. Brian went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences. For the last seven years he has worked and consulted for the Washington Nationals. Brian specializes in the treatment of overhead/throwing athletes, and brings this passion to Top Tier.

Jeremy Stewart is a Master of Physical Therapy specializing in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Jeremy graduated with Distinction from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation in 1997. While at Indiana University, he participated in the Little 500 bike race, the largest collegiate intramural event in the United States. His passion for sports and wanting to remain involved with athletes determined his course to pursue physical therapy. In 2000, he graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville. Following graduation, Jeremy has spent the last 18 years in the Melbourne area working in Outpatient Physical Therapy. Jeremy is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Over the last 15 years he has mentored physical therapy students while on their internships. Jeremy has also created opportunities for high school and college students to observe the profession to determine whether physical therapy is the field for them. Jeremy has worked with a broad range of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes throughout the course of his career. He has worked with distance athletes from various colleges including Duke, University of Florida, Florida State University, William and Mary, Mercer, and Columbia. He has been fortunate enough to work with professional surfers, various MLB organizations, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) where he serves as a per diem PT on the tour. Jeremy enjoys working with endurance athletes (triathletes and distance runners). He has attended multiple courses regarding the rehabilitation of running athletes. He works with all levels of runners from those just beginning their running careers to the high level athlete pursuing a successful college career. He has working relationships with the local running store, coaches, and camps. He gives regular lectures regarding identification and prevention of running injuries. In the clinic, he uses a multifaceted approach to not only treat an injury but identify any potential causes such as footwear, gait sequencing, and abnormalities in training programs. Jeremy provides a thorough analysis to each patient to help them achieve their goals and get them back on the road or in the water symptom free.
When not on the job, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife Audrey and their daughter Emma. He enjoys participating in sports, exercising at a local CrossFit Box, and traveling the world with his family.

Chris Wicker is a physical therapist to elite athletes in many sports. He graduated with BA in Sociology from Western New England College in 1997 and with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2001 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine in 2002. He has a passion for golf which led him to becoming a certified golf fitness instructor through Titleist Performance Institute. This has helped him over the last several years as one of the physical therapists on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour. Chris is certified in Astym therapy which is the only tool assisted manual therapy with research backing its results. He has a certification in kineseology taping through Rocktape (FMT-Functional Movement Techniques). Last year, he became an ImPACT certified therapist in the evaluation and treatment of concussions. His experience includes working with professional athletes in other sports including NFL, soccer, Olympic Athletes, etc. When not in the clinic, Chris has interests in travelling, playing golf, and spending time with his family. Chris is married to his wife Jessica and has two sons, Camden and Jace.

Heather was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida where she was involved in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading through college. She fell in love with the East Coast at a young age and moved to Rockledge, Florida after graduating from the University of South Florida with her bachelors degree in Athletic Training. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Central Florida. Through her schooling, her passion grew to promote wellness and help others to improve their quality of life. For helping others is about both the big things – the job we do, and the small things – the way we are with people. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, landscaping, crafting, and outdoor adventures with friends and family. “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Ashley Owchinko received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2004, where she was a member of their Co-ed Cheer Team. After ungrad she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine in 2007. Ashley is an ImPact Credentialed physical therapist and an APTA Clinical Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Ashley excels in treating pediatric orthopaedic patients, always making it fun and effective!! She also has received ongoing training for Vestibular Issues such as BPPV and Vestibular Hypofunction. Ashley is here to make Physical Therapy for every age and every injury a positive experience for everyone. Be prepare to laugh and have a wonderful experience while returning to your normal life!! Ashley on her free time loves spending time her husband ( My Brian) and her crazy critters and doing anything outgoing and adventurous.

Diane is the Administrator of Top Tier Sports Medicine. She has a wide base of medical business experience; having previously served 8 years as physical therapy clinic Executive Administrator in Brevard County, Florida. Diane was the Director of Fiscal Services for 14 years at a long term care facility and worked in the banking industry in New York for 15 years.
